Hilton is betting that technology investments will help it maintain a competitive advantage, testing 41 “use cases” for applying artificial intelligence applications at the company.

During an earnings call on Wednesday, President and CEO Chris Nassetta said Hilton had moved 90% of its enterprise technology to cloud-based systems, up from 20% in 2020. He said the modern platform positions Hilton to introduce innovations more rapidly.

“Because of where we are in our technology platform road map, we feel uniquely positioned in the industry to embrace AI and drive greater differentiation,” he said.
